The '59 Sound Ranked

Seeing this album played live the other night has solidified it as my favorite album ever. Impossible to rank obviously, but here you go. Every song is 5/5 or better except for #12.
1The Gaslight Anthem
Great Expectations

Just the greatest opener imaginable
2High Lonesome

The most perfect mix of everything this album has: soulful rock and roll, punk energy, Americana imagery, poignancy and nostalgia
3The '59 Sound

Will go down as the band's most enduring song
4Casanova, Baby!

I find this chorus getting stuck in my head more than any other
5Old White Lincoln

Always loved the vocal delivery best on this song, for some reason
6Film Noir

Most unique song on the album
7The Patient Ferris Wheel

Bit of a cut rate High Lonesome, nonetheless brilliant
8Here's Looking At You, Kid

Still the best ballad in the band's catalog
9Meet Me By the River's Edge

Endlessly catchy
10The Backseat

I feel bad putting this and Miles Davis so low, but just goes to show how great this album is
11Miles Davis & The Cool

A fan favorite, I'm just not into it as much as others I guess
12Even Cowgirls Get the Blues

Only song here that doesn't get full marks, but still a hell of a song
