| Great Stuff
Great albums I've been jamming recently - just trying to stay alive for
the next couple weeks 'til I get some vacation time. | 1 | | Bob Dylan Modern Times
I'm a huge Dylan fan, and I am a big supporter of all of his new albums. I've
known this was a solid record since it came out but it truly has just gotten
better over time. While I still favor "Love And Theft" and "Time Out Of Mind" to
this (and often times even Together Through Life) this really is just another
stellar release. | 2 | | Ralph Stanley A Distant Land To Roam
Another living legend, only with far less of a following than Dylan. Do
yourselves a huge favor and look into Mr. Stanley, and his legendary start with
The Stanley Brothers. | 3 | | Guy Clark Old No. 1
Finally found a copy of this kicking around in a record store, been dying to find
this. Absolute classic country here. | 4 | | Leon Russell Carney
Had the privilege of seeing Leon last week at an intimate venue. Second time
seeing him, the first being the premier of The with Elton John, and boy
was it exciting seeing him play some of his own classics. The fact that he signed
my ticket afterwards just put the show way over the top. | 5 | | Elton John Honky Chateau
Been a huge Elton John fan for a while, and as I said I saw The live about
a month and a half ago, and although it was a joy - I really want to see Elton
play his classics. He announced a date in my area so I've been on a Rocket Man
binge. Classic EJ right here. It should be noted that The is one of the
greatest releases this year too though. | |
