The Suburbs

suffers from repetition. Every song uses the same pattern, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, rrrorchestral climax. I loved Funeral and Neon Bible, but The Suburbs just bores me. "Rococo" is rrrthe tits, though. List is digs.
1The Acacia Strain

It's actually good, promise.
2Black Breath
Heavy Breathing

Great hardcore, might just be 2010's top hardcore album.

I could feel it the moment the album started for the first time, I knew it was
a highlight of 2010.
Halcyon Digest

I lost my Roy Ban ripoffs. They were actually from New York, too :(
5Harvey Milk
A Small Turn of Human Kindness

Takes some time to grow, but MAN is it something.
Special Moves

Rarely is a live album a band's best record.
7More Than Life
Love Let Me Go

"We started this band to make shit that means something".
Congratulations, you're achievers.
8Mouth of the Architect
The Violence Beneath

A gem of an EP. Won't take Isis' throne, but they have their place.
9National Sunday Law
The Fifth Ape

Second review!!
A Determinism of Morality

Another that took time to sink in, now I love it.
11Trap Them
Filth Rations

November 5th in Richmond :D
