09.04.12 | I like some fusion every once in a while. Should check out 1 at some point since I love Mahavishnu's Inner Mounting Flame. Btw, gave that Gary Moore live album a listen and it's absolutely great stuff. |
JamieTwort
09.04.12 | Definitely check out 1, it's right up there with Mahavishnu's best stuff imo. Glad you enjoyed that Gary Moore album. |

09.04.12 | Sweet list, man. And thanks for the shoutout on 3. Glad to see you like it.
Here's some recommendations that I've been really into lately:
1. Jaco Pastorius' self-titled solo album
(Jaco is a bass god, he adds an real irresistible funk to the groove)
2. Tohpati Ethnomission- Save The Planet
(Another user introduced me to the band and they are pretty good)
here's a link to one of their songs:

09.05.12 | Thanks for the recs Jethro, I'll check 'em out. I've been meaning to check out some of Pat Metheny's stuff for a while. I'm pretty sure you'll like 2 seeing as you like Spectrum (both feature the same guitarist). Mouzon's drumming on that album is excellent. |

09.05.12 | ^ Yeah I was wondering why you didn't include that album. Love it.
My favorite is IMPROgressive by Mindflowers and I've been meaning to pop my review cherry with it for some time now. One day.... |
JamieTwort
09.05.12 | @Jethro: Cool, thanks, that will give me a good idea of what albums to start with. I've heard Al Di Meola's Elegant Gypsy, it rules. That's the only album of his I've heard though, might look into some more of his stuff too. |

09.05.12 | @Keyblade: I haven't heard anything by Mindflowers, I'll give that album a listen. |

This is just a list of fusion albums I've been digging recently, I've heard a lot more Jazz Fusion than just these. |
Keyblade
09.05.12 | Right, didn't read the description. Gonna check all of these out as I love this genre. |
