10.03.12 | Yeah the thing is that I haven't EQ'd anything, which means that there is so much bass coming from everywhere (the bass, synths, some from the guitars) that the kick gets lost beneath everything, so it's not a matter of turning it up, I've just got to EQ everything. Keep in mind that this is only a demo, but far out I really appreciate your comments on it, I wish everyone would do that, the more the better lol. How would you describe the singing? I just can't really look at it objectively ahha |

10.03.12 | I've been recently becoming aware that most unique singers didn't necessarily have a naturally unique voice, but more so, they took the approach that any guitarist would - they'd do different things to active a tone that was unique (i.e. Cornell, Moreno, Vedder, Buckley). For the longest time I thought that you should sing the way it comes naturally and to a certain extent that can be good, but I imagine I'll need to work in this sense so that I don't end up sounding generic. Obviously, I haven't at all put that into practice. I actually really appreciate your comment man |
