IleftyspankedU: Vocalists Change Bands

IleftyspankedU 04.12.10	Keepin the list fairly new. Didn't wanna go back to do Van Halen v. Van Hagar and AC DC & stuff. Any others I couldn't think of?
Inveigh 04.12.10	The Haunted did it. It was for the worse, I'm glad they changed back. Misery Signals is close, because I like Karl's cleans, but I still like Jesse more overall I think. Howard's the better vocalist as far as KsE is concerned, their decent into mediocrity doesn't have as much to do with him as it does Adam D taking over all the songwriting from Joel (who wrote all of their first s/t and most of AOJB).

Inveigh 04.12.10	well, that I guess. I mean more that his screams sound fuller (on TEoH and ADD at least) than Jesse's, and he has more range on both his cleans and screams. I did like the melodies Jesse came up with a little better though, at least on AOJB.

Inveigh 04.12.10	I honestly can barely tell the difference for ABR. If I hadn't read it somewhere, I would've never known.
Jakeitwasaghost 04.12.10	Personally, It Dies Today is up in the air. Brooks' clean vocals were better... but I like Woods' scream better. Honestly, neither of them were very good live though.

IleftyspankedU 04.12.10	True, ABR is pretty hard to differentiate. But then again, so are most of the 'Devil Wears Prada'/Joey Sturgis produced bands now too. Brooks couldn't sing cleans for shit live. Dunno about the BYD triple change.

Yeahtoast 04.12.10	Up to the recent album I would've said for the good for #9. Both vocalists brought different things to the band, but the latest release was just rubbish

SHINFO 04.12.10	I agree with most of them except 9. Howard's screams are a bit better than Jesse's for sure. I think he has more range than Jesse too. All around good vocalist.

IleftyspankedU 04.12.10	Thought about Faith No More but they were sorta before the bands on my list too. And totally forgot Courtney Love was their vocalist for a minute. How weird would that've been if that one had lasted. Mike Patton's the shit though. Love me that 1st Mr. Bungle album. It's like the soundtrack to 'Killer Klowns From Outer Space' that never was.

Waior 04.12.10	ABR is way better with Luhrs. Attack Attack's new vocalist is kind of apt, which is surprising... what about DEP? Spencer is good for Underoath.
