Pretty GOAT taste for a dad
I'm genuinely glad you enjoyed time with him! Happy holidays ;)
This is great man, glad you could share it with your dad. Happy holidays!
Thanks, guys! Guess this list also spoils roughly a third of my Top 50 for this year, but you'll have to wait another week or so to get the thing ranked.
Side note: I cried a little bit to "Light" tonight. Really underestimated how emotional that song would make me given the circumstances. No regrets though. /o/
aww this is so sweet. you gave your dad a pretty damn sad playlist though ):
Nice one dude, glad you and your dad had fun :]
This is heart-touching and moving, and genuinely makes me wish I had a dad witg decent taste in music.
Nice playlist you've made for him, I was a pleasantly surprised by Jimmy Eat World being here. Glad he liked the playlist.
Whenever my dad arrives(my parents are divorced, too), we listen to music together and sometimes it gets a bit emotional when it's something hard hitting(Bowie's Lazarus for example) or something that reminds him of past(like when he showed me a Green Day(Dookie or 39/Smooth era, I don't remember)song he with his friends covered with their first band when they were like 17-18).
And I agree, I get that feeling when he likes a song that I show him, too. It's so..unique or so to speak.
If he liked 14 I'd have spat in his xmas dinner.
I'll pretty much never do this so it's nice to see people with common ground with their parents music wise.
damn, your dad has good taste, im jealous.
