Albums I Wanted To Like...

Every once in a while, there is an album that I expect to like, because it's from a band I like or because it gets very high praise but sometimes I just don't like it even if I try, here the the top 10 offenders

Sacrament

LoG was my fav band when this came out, I was really looking forward to it and every review I read was ranting and raving calling it LoG's best album, I've listened to this so much thinking that I must be missing something, but it's really lame

...And Justice for All

Their 1st 3 albums are amazing and this also gets very high praise but even though 'One' is a top 5 metallica song, the proginess on here is a severe turn off

Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt II

This is a 3.5 for me and my fav out of these 10 albums, I was sure it wasn't gonna live up to my expectations and the praise it got was overwhelming but I it's no classic in my mind

Fantastic Damage

Because of my love for Company Flow and El-P being the mastermind of the group this was bound to be great right? I didn't like it but after reading Sobi's 5 review for it I gave it another shot, there is just way too much going on here I prefer the simpler production of Funcrusher

This is considered on of the best albums of all time, I didn't like it but when I joined sputnik and saw the love it gets, I gave it another shot, Karma Police is good but as a whole I find it incredibly boring

When I heard Obstacle 1 I was floored but overall this just doesn't hold my interest I still love that song though

Very high praise for this everywhere, not just sputnik but I cant stand Doom's voice or his flow, some good beats on here but I think it's a terrible album

Sputnik said it was the best thing ever and East Hastings is a truly incredible track but there is way too much nothing going on in this album, it bores the hell out of me

I liked Organized Konfusion and Monch being the better rapper of the group, I had high hopes for this, the critical acclaim it got was amazing but it does nothing for me

Sputnik said it was great but what a fucking snooze fest this was, in their defense I've only heard it once but I have no interest in hearing it again
