Weezer Ranked (with Descriptions)

1-4 are all great albums

just barely edges out blue. the perfect soundtrack to being an angsty depressive teenager, so much raw passion and emotion even skramz kids like
yaknips dig it. 5/5

perfect mid 90s power pop/alt rock. my name is jonas, the world has turned, undone (the sweater song), buddy holly, say it ain't so, in the garage are
all nearly flawless songs. 5/5
Everything Will Be Alright In The End

the album that should have came out after pinkerton... except maybe not since rivers directly
apologizing for all the stupid shit he's done just makes it that much sweeter. mixes their 90s sound with some modern indie pop influences on the
verses of da vinci, go away etc. i've had it up to here sounds a bit like the darkness/foxy shazam which is awesome. the futurescape trilogy makes it
go out with a bang. 4.3/5

really solid ass-kicking hard rock album. underrated as fuck. some really great riffs and solos on this one. favorite tracks here have gotta be dope
nose, take control, slob, and death and destruction but it's all good stuff. 3.6/5

first 3 songs are the best thing here by far and then it's downhill a bit from there. where's my sex
and smart girls are awful but everything else is tolerable to genuinely good. a pleasant surprise
when it came out but not something i find myself returning to. 3.1/5
The Green Album

aside from the 3 singles (photograph, island in the sun, hash pipe) this album is a snoozefest. very
little of it is offensively bad but it's obvious rivers tried to write the most emotionally distant pop
rock album possible to "make up" for pinkerton. 2.7/5
The Red Album

pork and beans is a great fucking single, the greatest man that ever lived is kinda entertaining, and
the angel and the one is an amazing closer (blue/pinkerton tier, i've seen it described as a lost
mineral track and that's not too far off). the rest of the album is mostly trash, especially everybody
get dangerous and the songs sung by the other band members (thought i knew is okay though). 2.5/5

i will defend can't stop partying to the death and put me back together is a great pop song. honestly
i enjoyed this to an extent when i was 13 but it's mostly completely insufferable schlock now. 2.0/5
Make Believe

the only reason i rank this lower than raditude is because it was a complete slap in the face to fans
coming after maladroit which was a really good album. beverly hills and we are all on drugs make
me want to commit seppuku. i have only listened to this all the way through like twice a long time
ago and i have no desire to listen to it again. 2.0/5
