TheSpirit: Reading The Lords of Chaos (again) + movie gossip

TheSpirit 01.23.18	The above have been my soundtrack to reading thus far.
TVC15 01.23.18	Last semester at uni, I knew a girl taking philosophy class and apparently this book was mandatory reading in the class. I remember starting a list on this film last year cos me and some users were talking a lot about the film in the Hardwired to Self Destruct thread. Got pretty bent out of shape once Varg came out saying he, Darkthrone, and Mayhem denied the rights to use their songs for the film. So that's a big disappointment but I at least hope the actors and director pull through with an interesting film, there's a lot to put onto screen with this kinda setting
SCREAM! 01.24.18	I dunno, seems kind of off to have an Icelandic post rock band doing the soundtrack to a movie about Norwegian BM. Especially, as TVC said, that none of the bands involved want anything to do with it...
Astral Abortis 01.24.18	The movie will be trash like the book, probably worse. I'll see it out of morbid interest but I will likely hate it. there are better metal books and movies out there to see and read.

TheSpirit 01.24.18	I like the book for the black metal stuff, i usually skip the other half of it. I love Evolution of the Cult. Nothing else but the Metalion and Finnish BM books really interest me, I’ll defintely be checking them out.
SCREAM! 01.24.18	I've got Evolution of the Cult on my shelf to get to, looking forward to it! @Astral: Have you read Choosing Death? That's another I've got waiting to get to, wondering if you have thoughts on it
DungeonBoy 01.24.18	Evolution of the Cult is a great book. The Lords of Chaos, not so much.
Sevengill 01.24.18	a movie about Burzum and Darkthrone with a soundtrack by Sigur Ros I would swear this was satire if it wasn't confirmed by several sources
