10.12.09 | I get what you're trying to do with this list but it needs more
Crystal Method.
They're like the Michael Bay of the electronica/dance scene.
Big,loud and very commercial |

10.12.09 | @Bloc: I love TCM, i've got all their albums.
But just how Michael Bay fills his movies with loud noises and
huge explosions, TCM fills their albums full of huge bass
and lots of distortion. Very commercial too.
How many songs have been featured in movies, and i'm not
even gonna mention Name Of The Game lol.

10.12.09 | lol you type TCM and I got confused thinking you were talking about the texas chainsaw massacre remake |
Deviant.
10.12.09 | Oh yeah, didn't MB produce that or something? |
combustion07
10.12.09 | indeed along with the Firday the 13th remake |
bloc
10.12.09 | lol, no worries. i actually think your description of TCM is spot on. i totally understand what you're saying. i swear they even did the whole damn soundtrack to a movie. |
Deviant.
10.12.09 | Yeah, they did. For a movie called London. Movie and soundtrack
are pretty average, half of the music are just TCM remixes,
and you can find the best of those on the album they did for
Nike, Drive.
They toned down the hollywood sound on Divided By Night though,
me thinks they might have been listening to We Are The Night
by The Chems a bit too much. |
Deviant.
10.12.09 | @combustion: 13th remake any decent? |
bloc
10.12.09 | definitely, but i despite how indie Divided sounded, i really missed the big beat sound from their older albums. |
combustion07
10.12.09 | It had some decent kills, not the best thing ever but basically like the rest of the Firday the 13th's just a cliche, fun body count flick
I prefer you check out Hatchet or Laid to Rest instead |
Deviant.
10.12.09 | I think that's why people rag on Divided so much, I love it.
I personally think it's their only album that's consistent the whole
way through.
It's hugely organic sounding, but it always maintains a strong pace
to it, and evolves nicely.
Vegas loses it in the last 2 tracks, 2nd half of Tweekend is the same,
and Legion of Boom has a bunch of good songs scattered amongst
some pretty bad ones. |
combustion07
10.12.09 | I've only heard Vegas and Tweekend, my guess is I should check out their other stuff |
Deviant.
10.13.09 | If you can go through them in order, Divided By Night (their
latest) is a HUGE departure.
If you can, check out their mix cd's (Community Service I & II)
I's a bit more underground leaning, II's a bit of a club banger. |
bloc
10.13.09 | you can expect to find some gems in every single tcm album. discard the rest of the songs. |

10.13.09 | I actually quite like every song on Divided lol |

12.08.10 | The only good movies he's done are The Rock and the first Transformers. Other than that, he's pretty much one of the worst directors ever. |

12.08.10 | Seriously dude, how do you find these lists and remain completely oblivious to everyone asking you why you do it |
