Priest Vs Maiden - Hans Breaks It Down

Love both bands to death but someone has to be the winner. Do not argue with my scoring system, it is the best scoring system of all time. This came out closer than I thought. M/
1Judas Priest
Sad Wings of Destiny

ICONIC SONGS (15 Points) - Winner: Priest. Honestly I don't want to live in a world that doesn't have either one's music, but in the end I will take Victim of Changes, Dissident Aggressor (fucking m/), Beyond the Realms of Death, Electric Eye, etc over Hallowed Be Thy Name, Number of the Beast, Fear of the Dark (Live version), etc. Its damn close but I'll take the top 5 Priest songs over top 5 Maiden songs.
2Iron Maiden
The Number of the Beast

ALBUM CONSISTENCY (15 points) - Winner: Maiden. Priest has more clunkers by far and have not aged even close to as well (granted, they are a bit older). Maiden only made 3 bad albums, Priest had more.
3Iron Maiden
Live After Death

LIVE PERFORMANCES (10 Points) - Winner: Maiden. Ok maybe this is cheating cause I've only seen Priest live and they were m/ but I had every Maiden live disc, have watched every video repeatedly, and have first hand accounts from many who have seen them. I just don't think they can be topped.
4Judas Priest
Sin After Sin

INFLUENCE - (10 Points) - Winner: Priest. Again this is close, but giving Priest the nod because they came earlier and likely influenced Maiden in some ways, and they flat out just tried more styles, thus influencing more artists. Metal Gods for a reason.
5Judas Priest

RIFFS (10 Points) - Winner: Priest. Maiden are great guitar players but Priest has much manlier, beastly riffs. See Dissident Aggressor or pretty much any of their songs.
6Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden

BASS (10 Points) - Winner: Maiden. This isn't even remotely close.
7Judas Priest
Stained Class

Vocals (10 Points): Winner - Priest. Nothing against Bruce or Dianno but Halford is pretty much in a class of his own.
8Iron Maiden

DRUMMING (10 points)- Winner: Maiden. Again, not really close.

GUITAR SOLOS (10 Points): EVEN. Can't decide
10Iron Maiden
Somewhere In Time

LYRICS (5 Points) Winner: Maiden. Not that Maiden are lyrical savants but Priest was pretty Goddamn cheesy. Well they both were, I just think Maiden's were slightly more intelligent.
11Iron Maiden
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

MASCOT (5 Points): Winner: Maiden. Dude its fucking EDDIE vs assless chaps and a Harley.
12 Winner
With 55 out of 100

Maiden. UP THE IRONS. m/
