For these types of list I'm supposed to give a general summary of my problem and albums
that are pulling me through. But I think I enjoy the lack of elaboration and sometimes music
is, frankly, really unnecessary. Do you ever get those moments when playing something like
Bon Iver or Converge to have a soundtrack to a current upsetting situation or depression, is
nauseatingly cliche? I think I like the sound of cars and my fingers tapping on my keyboard
the best, right now.
Ugh, I'm sorry for writing all that. I'll probably this later. But until then, check my digs. | 1 | | John Cage 4 33 | 2 | | Naturally Occurring Sounds Winds, Computer Noise, and all that | |

05.23.10 | no offense but what does postin a list wit absolutely no info do 4 u? do u feel better now? | Enotron
05.23.10 | Not really. But it didn't have any negative side effects. So why not.
If anything I was sort of interested in bringing up a discussion on listening to albums when upset vs. not listening to albums when upset
But it doesn't really matter. Writing for the sake of writing, I suppose, can make me feel mildly better, so yeah I guess you got it. | tinkrbel
05.23.10 | listening 2 depressing music makes u feel worse
i say listen to somethin fast/aggresive or listen 2 nothin at all
sry if i came off like an asshole just wonderin what this was about | AggravatedYeti
05.23.10 | ok...so...yeah seeing 1 performed live is deceptively engaging. | Enotron
05.23.10 | It's all good. While listening to music that's too abrasive to cause any sort of emotive reaction does work very well, occasionally listening to something touching or moving can be nice for wallowing in your sadness.
But I'm not even that bad to listen to something in that vein. I like doing nothing the most. |
