Favourite Guitar Tones

got a couple of days off, making to many lists :/
1Eric Johnson

His clean tone is absolute pure heaven.
2Lamb of God

Not a fan of the album, or the band really but the rawness of the tone on this i really like, instead of scooping they boosted the fuck out of the mids and it sounds great.
Ok Computer

So many different tones on this album that i love, the whole production is just fantastic, subterranian homesick alien especially.

Thank Christ for The Bomb

Tone wise, similar to hendrix only better. One of the most tragically underrated bands/guitarists/lyricists of all time.
But the guitar tone is beautiful, half broken overdrive with an old school strat and some of the most emotive playing makes the tone superb.
5 Frank Zappa
Chunga's Revenge

Tonally, maybe an aquired taste. Personally the barking half on wah pedal distortion is wonderful to me, yet he covered so many tones i wouldnt really know where to start. This album imo demonstrates his best guitar tones.
