| Saw Opeth Last Night
And it was weird. Didn't feel like Opeth at all. Most of the setlist was
songs from Heritage and others were Closure, A Fair Judgement, Face
of Melinda, and Patterns in the Ivy II. It was alright, I guess. People
were asking for heavier songs for the duration of the whole night.
There was even a mosh pit going on during Closure! They brought a
huge fucking disco ball. Axe had a great solo. The guy is a beast. It felt
like "Opeth gone Genesis", which is not necessarily a bad thing. Just

10.20.11 | I saw them on the 18th. People kepy yelling for Ghosts of Perdition, but the set was still pretty good. Mikael is a pretty funny dude.
Best tracks were Face of Melinda, Closure, and Hex Omega (moshed hard during that one).

10.20.11 | Mikael is such a cool dude. People were douches when I saw them in Spokane, seriously embarrassing I wanted to apologize to them afterward, but they were awesome and Katatonia were great. At one point Mikael was joking about America (in a totally non-dickish way) and mentioned that we have Britney Spears, to which some stupid hick thoughtfully shouted, "yeah, well we also have LAMB OF GOD" ....ultimate facepalm moment. Folklore, Hex Omega, Closure were highlights | eternium
