06.17.10 | The Butterfly Effect...I gave them a listen and was not impressed. Deleted it right out of my library. Does it take some time to grow on you or did you like it right off the bat? |

06.17.10 | TBE is actually probably my least favorite band on this list. I liked them pretty well at first but then they actually kinda grew off me and I haven't listened to them much since. Still a pretty good album though. Point being, I wouldn't expect them to grow on you much, given my experience with them. |

06.17.10 | And thanks for the recs Puddles. I'll definitely look into those. I'm a huge fan of Blue Sky Noise, but I haven't really heard the others. |

06.17.10 | Ha ha. If I had to pick a number one favorite band it would probably be dredg. So, obviously I disagree. |

06.17.10 | Yeah dredg is starting to tear through all my most played lists. The only album I've heard by Oceansize is Everyone Into Position, but judging from their other stuff I've heard I think I'd like the other albums better |
Phideaux
06.17.10 | The other Oceansize albums that is. Not sure if that was clear. |

06.17.10 | This is good music to get into, absolutely! 1, 3, 4, 7, 9, 11 are among my favorite albums of all. I can't even rec you Sleep Parade! :-P
I guess I'll rec more PT:
Porcupine Tree - 'Fear of a Blank Planet' (this one first)
Porcupine Tree - 'In Absentia'
And then:
Riverside - 'Second Life Syndrome' or 'Rapid Eye Movement'
...and then, just because you and I share similar tastes, you might enjoy:
Jimmy Eat World - 'Futures'
Days Away - 'Mapping an Invisible World' |

06.18.10 | I'm liking Riverside. I've heard a lot of people talk about them. Probably about time I checked them out. Also, I actually have those PT albums, I just didn't want to put more than one of the same band on the list. After listening to Days Away I'm surprised I haven't ever heard of them since I listen to a lot of similar music. Its good stuff. Its like a dollar on amazon so I'll probably get it. |

06.18.10 | Going back a few comments, I've tried to get into Closure in Moscow a few times before but It never really did anything for me. I just checked them out again, though, and heavily dug it this time. I'll have to get my hands on that too. |
Apollo
06.18.10 | Not sure how anyone who is a legitimate fan of music could say that Dredg suck.
