RIP Paul

I read somewhere that Slipknot would disband if any member of the band left, I guess you could say Slipknot is going to disband after this. It's been a long time coming, but I didn't expect Paul Gray to die, at least not in a similar way to The Rev. It sucks in the sense that when I was getting into music nu-metal was my thing, and Slipknot was one of my favorite bands as a raging teen (and pretty much everyone else under the age of 15). Here are some my favorite Slipknot albums.
1Slipknot
Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.

The original vocalist may not have Corey's explosive scream, but the diverse music makes up for it. I swear there were a few moments that reminded me of disco on this album.
2Slipknot
Slipknot

Pure adrenaline filled aggression, and a sense of accessibility that makes it all possible. "Wait and Bleed" is still one beast of a song.
3Slipknot
Iowa

Here is the album of my teenage-dom. It was dark, brooding, and heavy it was basically like biggest toughest black metal band when they were mask wearing teenagers. "Left Behind" "People=Shit" "I Am Hated" are all pretty damn good songs to this day.
