Best Albums of 2019

This is my favorite year in music this decade. Some of my favorite bands made new records (Dream Theater, Opeth, D Townsend) but also several bands I’m relatively new to (Soen, Wilderun, Astronoid etc) really impressed me. It was incredibly hard to narrow my favorites down so here are the top 20. Side note- Saw a ton of bands live this year and will say Amon Amarth’s show might have been my favorite. Mind blowingly good.
