Post-black-doom-basement metal. Less post-rock influence takes away a lot of the meandering this band did on their debut,
giving songs a better sense of focus and direction this time around. Although the reduction in "atmospheric" sections and
buildups may make this release less unique, it's definitely a step forward for the band in terms of their songwriting.

They're not black metal rawr rawr rawr. The band is evil and everyone seems to be waiting for it, so I think it fits. |

It's ok. The synths are too prominent on the first track, and the second doesn't really go anywhere. The production is still
wack, as the guitars don't sound aggressive enough, and the drums are too clunky to be aggressive, as well. |
