I Dig A Pony
Albums I hold a special place for |
1 | | The Beatles Abbey Road
It didn't strike me as exceptional at first, but it is a really great listen and it continues to grow on me with each passing day. Amazing album. |
2 | | Weezer Pinkerton
This being only my second Weezer album (my first was The Red Album), I was blown away how much better this is. It puts everything else I've heard from them to shame. |
3 | | Faith No More Angel Dust
I enjoyed this way more than The Real Thing, which was just okay in some places, though it was brought up by a few standout tracks. This, on the other hand, is awesome from start to finish. |
4 | | Rush Hemispheres
I've been on the fence with whether this or 2112 was superior, and I have to say while 2112 is extremely good in the first two tracks but a little lacking elsewhere, this is consistently excellent, and is the better album (depending on my mood) |
5 | | Rush 2112

6 | | Ramones Ramones
Played this more times than I can count on my old MP3 player, so much that even after I hadn't played it for 2 years all of its songs were still on my most played list. I can see why. |
7 | | The Sleeping Questions & Answers
I dunno, for me this album had so much staying power for me. I only really like a few songs when I first got it. Now, a year and a half later, I can say I enjoy every single song here. Good stuff. |
8 | | Black Mountain In the Future
It struck me as average on first listen, but having mindlessly played this so many times and ending up being blown away, this has grown on me a LOT. |
9 | | Mastodon Blood Mountain
Blood Mountain has at least four standout tracks, and the rest is all excellent. It is more immediate than Crack the Skye and less repetitive than Leviathan, which makes it the best of the three. |
10 | | Skillet Comatose
I really don't know why I like this, but this album has been played a lot by me for almost a year now, and even though it drags in some spots, they have enormous energy in some songs. |
