08.26.20 | I think that listening to the DGD albums in chronological order is appropriate and makes the most sense from an evolutionary perspective. However, I think the most polished and accessible album is Mothership. Following Mothership, I would recommend the Kurt Travis era albums next (Self-Titled, Happiness), followed by DBM I & II. Also, I don't mind Tilian, but I've secretly been hoping for another vocalist change-up. Artificial Selection and Afterburner didn't bring much to the table and it's easy to hear that DGD are simply selling repackaged ideas at this point in time, which is a shame. |
