| Favorite Albums From The Past Decade
Just some favorites from each year from 1999 to now. Was actually very hard to do, so i just chose the ones that have had an impact on me, whether that be broadening my music horizons, or i just find the album amazing. | | 1 |  | Opeth

1999 --- This band is the first "REAL" metal band i heard and it completely changed my view on metal, and introduced to me other great bands such as BTBAM. | | 2 |  | Radiohead

2003 --- This was one of the hard years as this, and Explosions in the Sky's "Earth is not a cold dead place" both came out, i had a hard time choosing, but in the end this won it. The entire album is gold | | 6 |  | Mastodon

Takk
2005 --- This was definately the hardest one, to choose between my 2 favorite bands, BTBAM and Sigur Ros. "Alaska" or "Takk...". I find that when i listen to "Takk..." i go somewhere else. it's an amazing feeling. The atmosphere, the emotion, everything. | | 8 |  | The Beatles

Watershed
2008 --- This one surprised me actually, i hadn't followed Opeth much lately and just saw the cd at a local store, picked it up, and was astonished. When "heir apparent" boomed for the first time, ughh....craziness! and Burden's Pink Floyd-esque solo(s) were amazing! | | 11 | | ???

any beatles cd just pales in comparison to the vinyl. i hate the studio mixes on the cds. | Chewie
