07.29.11 Albums I Would Enjoy Seeing Reviewed07.09.11 Bands That Have Influenced My Musical T

Bands That Have Influenced My Musical Taste Or Left An Impression On Me

These are bands that, in some way, either helped change the kind of music I listen to today, or left a sizable impression on me(or both). Just a bit bored, so I thought I would make a list of them.
1Vendetta Red

The First time I heard them, it was the song There Only Is. I Instently knew I would love this band, for the way the song gently went along, growing in power, then softening, then letting out a Wave of sound and Screams, blasting away. Also, their lyrics are, for the most part, pretty creative, going into some rather dark territories.
2Burden Of A Day

I Don't Know what it is about them, but ever since i heard Monsters Among Us for the first time, I have always had them on my Mp3. From their first album, Pilots and Paper Planes, which had a raw, biting feel to it, to Blessed Be Our Ever After, Which Roared through my headset with power, to One One Thousand, which both soared with clean vocals and hit with harsh screams, I have greatly enjoyed this band. They were also key in showing me the Metalcore genre, which has led me to a ton of other great bands.
3The Elijah

I found them only a few months ago, but they left a great impression on me. The way they create a musical soundscape, combined with rough screams and a extremely talented singer just hit all the right levels with me. A band to watch, for sure.

These guys were the first band I heard that was of the Post-hardcore/ metalcore variety. When I first heard them, I thought they were the most badass band ever. While that is easily not true, I still enjoy listening to their debut album, as while it's not amazing, it is still a fun listen. These guys paved the way for me to listen to bands like All That Remains, 36 Crazyfists, Hot Cross, Saetia, and tons more.
5Galt Aureus

These two just make amazing music, plain and simple(for me at least) When I first heard them, I was amazed at the influences I heard in the music. Classical, Alt. Rock, Indie, Hard Rock, and more found their ways into songs, with a focus on the Classical, alt. rock, and pop. They craft amazing songs, from fun, faster paced tunes, to soaring orchestral pieces, all wrapped in creative lyrics, these guys one me over easily.
6Up-C Down-C Left-C Right-C ABC + Start

Their album, And The Battle Is won, if one of my top albums ever. every song on there oozes atmosphere, and some of the songs are just plain beautiful. Their song Comfort Me, I've Lost My Heart, is among my top songs.
7The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die

Man, these guys are a cool band. the emotion they put into their songs is easily seen when you first hear them, with beautiful music paving the way for a quiet, emotional vocal delivery, that can all be put on max power in a second, and fill the speakers with amazing sound. Victim Kin Seek Suit is a is played by me every day at least once, it is so well done.
8Machinae Supremacy

These dues have a cool ass sound to them. from biting guitars to crazy video game synth sounds, they just can make great rock songs. Not only that, but they lyrics are normally pretty cool, and their vocalist has a intresting, unique voice. they are just a great, unique take on hard, faster paced rock.

His debut Solo Album, Go, hit me like waves of happiness followed by more of the same. the way he crafts his songs is amazing, and they are all beautifully done, not to mention his singing, which is crazy good.
10Maximum the Hormone

These guys slowly slid into my top bands with their crazy way of switching up their genre between albums, between songs, even in the middle of the same song they're playing! Great guitar, Great bass, great drumming, great vocals, they really pull it all off with gusto. Can't say it any better then that they rock.
