Return To The Pit

lol, remember that site? anyway, favorite 25 screamo albums of the past decade

There doesn't need to be a reason.
2Love Like... Electrocution
Love Like... Electrocution

These guys had that batshit insane vocals over noodly guitars thing so hard.
3Jeromes Dream
Seeing Means More Than Safety

This band is why the music I thought was grind when I was 15 existed. This band is chaos.
4 Envy
All the Footprints You've Ever Left...

Envy is the band that made me explore outside of American screamo.
5Neil Perry
Lineage Situation

Yes it's a compilation, but the last recordings they ever did are their best imo.
6Funeral Diner
The Underdark

Funeral Diner is in my opinion the most classic emo band to come from the west coast. Some of the greatest atmosphere.
7Pg. 99
Document #8

Pg. fucking 99.
8Louise Cyphre

I actually got into these guys because of how much I used to love La Quiete (who do not appear on this list even). Louise Cyphre is, imo, the God of German skram.
9Hot Cross

Hot Cross' full length is such a classic emo record. Twinkly, noodly guitars, tons of gang vocals, countless sing alongs. Pure fun.
All Our Tomorrows End Today

This album has some of the coolest guitar licks.
11 Usurp Synapse

Very chaotic therefor elite.
12City Of Caterpillar
City Of Caterpillar

One of the most awkward, awesome albums ever.
13Bucket Full Of Teeth

Classic French band.
14Off Minor
The Heat Death Of The Universe

Off Minor is a band I always forget about for some reason, but they seriously have one of the most interesting, heavy sounds in skram history.
15Yaphet Kotto
We Bury Our Dead Alive

So many sing alongs
The Moon Is A Dead World

Dat jazziness
17The Spirit Of Versailles

Band was so raw.
18 Raein
Il N'y Pas De Orchestre

There is no band, this is all a tape recording. People seem to think Raein is real generic and mediocre compared to their peers, but I think they have the perfect Euroskramz sound, especially the vocals.
19Score One For Safety

One of the most unique/awesome sounding albums in the genre.
20Kite Flying Society [FL]

21I Would Set Myself On Fire For You
I Would Set Myself On Fire For You

Dat viola.
22 Daitro/Sed Non Satiata

Daitro and Sed Non Satiata are two bands that have wonderful songs and albums, but kind of lose their luster over time. Their respective halves of this split are the best of their sounds.
23Circle Takes The Square
Circle Takes The Square

Come at me bro.

Very punk sounding French band, absolute classic.
25 The 1000 Travels Of Jawaharlal
Owari Wa Konai

I do not know how I forgot this, more awesome catchy punky skram.
