Dinosaur Jr, The Weakerthans (Left and Leaving), Frightened Rabbit, Arcade Fire, Pixies, Modest Mouse, Olivia Tremor Control and The White Stripe are all bands that I know and love at some point. I also note a bunch of names I know out of which I never heard a single note.

I think I already heard some stuff by them, I have to verify. @daniel; Pavement have put out a bunch of good songs found here and there, but they are not the best at the song writing. Not that they don't have any potential, at the contrary, but it seems they deliberately compose average songs that we find in each and every albums they released.

Jethro42 06.03.16	You're probably right, Adolf. I'm listening to Crooked Rain atm, and as expected, I find some enjoyable songs, and some that don't do anything to me. Between others, Range Life is awesome, and I forgot about it. Now that I know they can be more charming than I think, I have to listen to their best albums at some point.

danielcardoso 06.04.16	Adolf put it better than i could tbh, yeah their charm is pretty much their weirdness. They are consistenly great jethro but their first 3 particularly are essential.
