User Spotlight: June 2020

The last time I did this was 2014 (RIP those old lists), but I decided to revive it. Just a way of showing that user reviews don't go entirely unnoticed. It's mostly for those who seem to be writing good reviews lately, and perhaps flying a bit under the radar for whatever reason. These writers were on my radar in June.
1Ecke Wu
表演 Performance

JesperL: Jesper has been around for a few years and he always seems to bring great unknown music to the surface. Quarantine life upped the ante on his recent review count, and I for one have enjoyed it because he's one of the best user reviewers on the site. With three solid write-ups under his belt in June, I was most drawn to his Ecke Wu write up. It's a beautiful dream pop record if you haven't heard it yet - highly recommended.
2Bob Dylan
Rough and Rowdy Ways

ColeT: Not only is ColeT the favorite user of resident comment king LordePots, but he has also turned in his first 2 reviews this week. Both albums - Owen's "The Avalanche" and Bob Dylan's "Rough and Rowdy Ways" - were in desperate need of reviews, and ColeT stepped up to the plate. Keep up the good work.
3Eerie Gaits
Bridge Music

helperoni: This is former user TwoHeadedBoy, back to review with a new account and new perspective. I may be a bit biased because he introduced me to this beautiful ambient folk record by Eerie Gaits - but his review also knocked it out of the park. Will be interesting to follow his reviews going forward, especially if he decides to review some new releases.
