Zion - "This Is Our Punk-Rock," Thee Rusted Satellites Gather + Sing, Tortoise - TNT Talk Talk - Laughing Stock for post hardcore a la Thrice and At the Drive-In: At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command Thrice - Live at the House of Blues should give you a good overview over their career - then you can decide whether you like their heavier early phase or the more experimental later one more Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come Frodus - And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea Fugazi - The Argument Unwound - Leaves Turn Inside You for dredg you could start with Leitmotif and work your way through their discography. for Porcupine Tree get Fear of a Blank Planet first and then try some of their older stuff like Stupid Dream or Lightbulb Sun and also try: Marillion - Brave Oceansize - Effloresce maudlin of the Well - Bath Cardiacs - A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window King Crimson - Red Sleep Parade - Things Can Always Change that should be enough for a while ;)

For other Minus the Bear albums just start with Menos el Oso and then procure the other ones in any order you wish. If you end up really liking EITS, check out the things Mendigo mentioned, as well as... Lights Out asia - Eyes Like Brontide pretty much Sigur Ros's entire discography Apse - Spirit Menisus's new album (the name escapes me at the moment)

zeppelinUSA 02.04.09	For Thrice go with Vheissu or Artist in the Ambulance. Vheissu is more experimental but it's an amazing album. Artist is more accessible though, plus its my favorite album ever.

Abdar112 02.04.09	For both Porcupine Tree & Dredg check out OCEANSIZE - Effloresce (or anyother album by them) For Thrice, they have really changed their sound over their career, but it depends if you perfer their early post-hardcore/punk stuff start w/ either The Illusion of Safety or The Artist In The Ambulance. They really changed their sound to a more experimental rock sound in Vheissu and The Alchemy Indexes
SeaAnemone 02.04.09	For... MtB (best band on the list by a smidgeon)... You're probably going to want to go with Highly Refined Pirates, but if you're looking for something a little more laid back and chill than PoI, go with Menos el Oso, the point is, you really can't go wrong with any of it.

Yotimi 02.04.09	1. A band called Park that nobody has ever heard of is kinda like MtB but a little more on the pop/punk side. 3. Relationship of Command easily their best imo 4. Start with Artist in The Ambulance if you are more into post hardcore. Also get The Shape of Punk to Come from The Refused 7. Based on your album ratings, I have no idea what to recommend - I don't see any Radiohead; start with The Bends then OK Computer, then Kid A. But if you haven't got them by now I'm not sure you will.

DrunkBishyBoshy 02.05.09	@Yotimi. Never really been a Radiohead fan to be honest. I've always kinda regared them as being avante-garde for Robbie Williams fans and people who haven't heard enough music. Having said that, The Bends is enjoyable. Thanks for the recs tho.
