Top 5 Favorite Live Performances I've Been To

My top 5 favorite performances from bands I've seen over my short life time...aka 21 years...i'm getting old *sad face*
1The Cure

I wanted to put Streetlight so bad, but in the end, The Cure reigns over all on awesomeness. No amount of words can explain the magic behind seeing The Cure. Sure Robert Smith has gotten old and a little pudgy, but he stll has his talent of wooing the crowds over, again and again. I will never forget the show (which went on nearly 3 hours!). they covered almost every era of their career, sticking to Disingration-era (which rocked) and I just wanted it to keep going and never end.
2Streetlight Manifesto

When I went to work the next day after the show, I couldn't talk to anyone b/c I had no voice, I could barely walk b/c I was so sore from moshing/skanking, and I bruises on my body from the latter as well. All in all though, it was worth it! As soon as they blasted on stage I couldn't get enough, I wanted every song they could muster. it was an all out performance and I can't wait to see them again
3Interpol

At the time, I wasn't very aware on who Interpol were. Though I quickly learned as this opening act for The Cure (CURIOSA FESTIVLE, BOOYA!) shook me to my bones. Haunting vocals/lyrics, powerful bass line, and intertwining guitars had me hypnotized. It opened my mind to more music I couldn't comprehend!
4Velvet Revolver

This was when they first came out, Contraband had just hit the shelves, and I already had my tickets to go. It was intense to see legendary rockers rock together on stage. People when berserk when Slash's top hat came out; insaneness. All that aside, these experienced rockers brought me down to my knees, they covered some good STP and Gn'Rs songs to the mix which made it even more exciting. Slash playing "Sex Type Thing" was...just wow...
5Death Cab for Cutie (along w/ opening by Ted Leo + The Pharmisits)

Sorry for my terrible spelling today, but anyways...Ted Leo opened up, and even though Ted was sick, he still rocked out til he broke his guitar, amazering. Then Death Cab came out and I was wooed over by Ben's voice as the entire crowd kinda just took a big group hug together; plus I was totally able to pick up a chick there which was awesome, still talk to her, booya.
