Recent Digs

A few albums I'm currently into, some are new, some are not so new, one is Brand New.
1Brand New
The Devil and God are raging inside me

I have had this for two years and never listened to it, finally did last week and OMG do I feel stupid for not doing so sooner, can see this being one of my favourite albums already.
2Forgive Durden

Again bought this years ago, when I was into anything 'fueled by ramen', oh...the shame!...anyway, it didnt sound like Panic! so i never listened to it again until recently...and mannn, i was such a tool...this is so much better than anything else on that label.
Brother, Sister

Again, not new, but a band I've been meaning to check out for a while, and regret not doing it sooner. Still digesting this, but there is just something about this I've fallen in love with, cant put my finger on it yet.
4 The Gaslight Anthem
The 59 Sound

This just reminds me of Americana, Sailor Tattoos and Drive-In movies...its a place I want to be, and this takes me there.
5Gatsbys American Dream

I heard Forgive Durden sound alot like these guys, and that this is their best to date, liking it so far.
Traced In Air

Don't think i can say anything about this that hasn't been said already
Lost in the Sound of Separation

I cannot decide if I prefer this or DTGL, i love them both!
8A Textbook Tragedy

Grindy/metal/mathcore from the young Canadians, I like the dual harsh vocals, quite unique in that aspect...promising band.
9 Between the Buried and Me
Colors (Live)

Love Colors, how the hell they play a live, non-stop, near studio clone of Colors I'll never know.

You cannot have an opinion on Nirvana unless you've heard this. It raw, loud, dirty and shameful = fucking great!!
