luci 01.29.20	Notes: - I excluded art pop leaning releases like James Blake's s/t, Arca's s/t, Sophie's and Yves Tumor's debuts. They'll be on my decade list next week. - Spent most of the month revisiting and checking out stuff I missed. Around 10 newcomers placed here. - Was worried there might be too much 2019 but 11 releases seems reasonable.

luci 01.29.20	i'd be surprised if you didn't like 68 and 83. 63, 68 and 86 are usually my first listens of the morning. 86 is too dry for most people but you might get into it
Atari 01.29.20	cool, I'll jump on some of these. what's here I've heard I really enjoyed (1, 11, 37, 46, 48, 63, 99) kind of expected to see Stimming here as I really found Alpe Lusia to be completely captivating

Chortles 01.29.20	beautiful! we line up on most but I like the little surprises in here. didn't expect ishome to be so high up! love it this month, i've been revisiting a lot of artists I didn't give enough of a chance as well -- s.a.m. (that album you have on here is gorgeous), steve hauschildt, telefon tel aviv, djrum (as you know). also, New Energy would be my Four Tet pick for the decade, but i've finally been giving 37 the love it deserves recently too. don't know why it took so long.
luci 01.29.20	thank you! glad I stalked your ratings to that Fennec, what an endearing house record. that Ishome is a real sleeper hit, grows in estimation with each listen. was surprised at how well the Unbalance record holds up (was trying to make a statement by placing it one spot above Immunity). I love New Energy but TILIY had to be the one, if only for how formative it's been to my taste. i hope you get to the URA album, jammed it today and considered ranking higher, just stunning

Chortles 01.29.20	unbalance, yes! such a great album. need to hear URA still too. forgot to mention that i still revisit 26 very often and it just holds up so well, still find it so punchy and addictive! Heat and Compro are def the albums of 2018 for me in terms of still being deeply anchored in my consciousness
