A Change Of Pace

These lists seem to be getting a little repetitive, with the same artists being posted, and then recieving props just like the last list. How many lists on Opeth do we need? Granted they are an amazing band, but lets see some other artists get some credit. Heres a lits of mostly instrumental artists that are incredible. My favorites (in no particualar order) to do homework to because i can send it to the background, but its not just ambiant noise.
1Andy Mckee
Art of Motion

Incredible artist that can coax melodies out of his guitar that blow me away.
All while tapping out the rhythm and playing the bass part.
Check out: Drifting
2Antoine Dufour
Development

A solo acoustic guitarist who can really play. Some songs he has a few other guitars with him or a violin. Amazing.
Check out: Wapus
3 Andy Timmons
That Was Then, This Is Now

Electric is his choice, has a backing band but nothing spectacular except for his playing.
Check out: Super 70's
4 Don Ross
Music for Vacuuming

If you haven't hear of Don Ross, just youtube Never Got to Pernambuco.
Check out: Never got to Pernambuco
5 John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess
An Evening With John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess

Live album of two masters playing with great guitar work and amazing piano melodies.
Check Out: Furia Taurina
6 Erick Turnbull
Erick Turnbull

Same style as Antoine and Mckee, not a bit less talleneted than either.
Check Out: Low C
7 Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin & Al Di Meola
Friday Night In San Francisco

If you look for only one thing off this list, make it Friday Night in San Francisco. This album is one of my all time favorites.
Check Out: Mediterranean Sundance/Rio Ancho
8 Wise Guys
Wo Der Pfeffer Wachst

Ok its not instrumental, but its in german so it might as well be. They actually dont even play instruments. Wise Guys is an a cappella quintet that is incedible. They are the only a cappella group i listen to, dont even really like the genre. With inteligent lyrics and incrdible tallent these guys astound me still.
Check Out: Du Bist Dran
9 Robert Taylor
The Rabid Petting Zoo

He wrote this album after a dream, all i can say is he most have done some acid before falling asleep. Akin to Mckee
Check out: The Rabid Petting Zoo
10 Gipsy Kings
Best of The Gipsy Kings

I speak terrible spanish, don't hardly understand a word. Doesn't stop me from appreciating great musicianship.
Check out: Volare
