12.28.21 | I mean, you could make the same argument about almost every subgenre of metal. Lol. Part of being a fan of a particular subgenre of metal is enjoying bands that iterate and refine the sound. Sure, there's definitely bands pushing the envelope and trying something new (see: Frontierer) but a vast majority of the bands within a particular genre are making music that sounds similar sonically. |
