My Latest Delvings
So, I have been silent in my ratings for awhile. You know what? Go to hell. I am lazy. Even my noexistent cat Muffins says so. Ohhh, you may say he is not there; trust me, she is. Did I contradict myself? Oh well.
I digress. Bands I have listened to lately. |
1 | | Minus the Bear Planet of Ice
They have a Botch member, so it was inevitable I would find them. Amazing stuff. |
2 | | Cradle of Filth Midian
My old manager was all about these guys' MTV albums, so it took me awhile to get into them. Amazing material in their old albums |
3 | | Gallows Orchestra of Wolves
After diverging into Hardcore, I found several bands; this is one of them. Highly recommend this album to everyone. |
4 | | Novembers Doom The Novella Reservoir
After seeing a review for this, I checked it out. Punishing riffs, fantastic vocals. One of my new favorites. |
5 | | Enslaved Eld
Classic, classic, classic. If there is one things these guys have down, it is atmosphere; guitars are a close second. Highly recommend. |
6 | | Pelican The Fire in our Throats Will Beckon...
Easily the most amazing hour of instrumental music I have ever heard. Beautiful melodies and awesome compositions. |
7 | | High on Fire Death is This Communion
After seeing they were on Gigantour (which I did not go to because I am lazy), I checked them out. Their harmonies are amazing. |
8 | | Anaal Nathrakh Eschaton
The most extremely brutal thing I have ever heard. Words cannot describe the level of noise these guys create. |
9 | | Cynic Focus
I had not heard of them at all until a news article, but I am extremely glad I checked them out. One of the most creative things I have ever heard. |
10 | | Blotted Science The Machinations of Dementia
One of the most varied albums to grace my ears, the technicality on this album is at a level that I am surprised it turned out so amazingly. |
11 | | Streetlight Manifesto Somewhere In The Between
My happy music! The only album to ever get me singing along. |
12 | | Porcupine Tree Deadwing
Fantastic material, regardless of what you want to call them. Everyone should give them a chance. |
13 | | Dissection Storm of the Lights Bane
Another amazing classic in Black Metal. Everyone should check this out if they have not already. |
14 | | Burst Origo
Props to The_Wizard for introducing me to these guys; really unique stuff. Reminds me of Botch, so of course, I love them. |
15 | | Fair to Midland Fables From a Mayfly
Again with the unique music. These guys have something serious going; perhaps the new SOAD; hopefully without the later career suck. |
16 | | Hypocrisy Virus
Punishing Swedish Death Metal. I cannot get enough of the opening track (NO, not the intro). One of my favorite music transitions on that song. |
17 | | Novembre The Blue
Simple name, amazing music. Worth a look from everyone. |
18 | | Isis Panopticon
They are my heavy Agalloch. I could listen to these guys while performing any action. All their material is great. |
19 | | Refused The Shape of Punk to Come
Absolute classic in Hardcore. Should be listened to by all fans of Hardcore. |
20 | | Kittens Meow!
I like cats. There. I said it. No, this is not an album; merely my expression of my fondness for felines. |
