10.14.11 | So by hard rock you mean heavy metal. Got it. |

10.14.11 | most of these came before heavy metal. otherwise it
would include Sad Wings of Destiny and Walls of
Jericho. I guess some of these are on the fence. |

10.14.11 | sumyunguy - haha, yeah I noticed that as I was putting this together. RIP. and Child in Time is,
indeed, the one I listed. but Flight of the Rat (see: drum solo) and Speed King are also pretty
wicked. |

10.14.11 | Deep Purple destroys [2] |
Bandido
10.14.11 | 1, 2, 4, and 10 all rule. You seem to have a thing for Ritchie Blackmore haha. It's cool though, he shreds. Probably my favorite guitarist!
As far as In Rock and Machine Head go, I'd have to say Bloodsucker and Lazy are my faves, respectively |

10.15.11 | Yeah Blackmore and Dio are in here a lot...but these bands traded musicians like sports teams trade players. Roger Glover played or produced for several, Blackmore was in a few, Dio sang in three...I think Rainbow and Sabbath shared a couple musicians too. Either Powell or Appice, I forget. |
