| Thomas Erak Is A Cat Lady
Seriously, just take a look at his twitter account: https://twitter.com/Thomas_of_Troy....... Of rthe pics he uploads feature a cat, two cats or Thomas with a cat on top of him. As of right now, rlatest 2 pics are of cats.List is albums he was on, from worst to best. Cheers | 1 | | The Fall of Troy In The Unlikely Event
Whaaat a disappointment. So poppy, so sloppy... and not a decent scream to be
heard! This is what happens when a band takes "progression" the wrong way.
Best song: Panic Attack! | 2 | | Just Like Vinyl Just Like Vinyl
Ok, we were all probably expecting something like "The Fall of Troy pt.II", so
expectations were set too high, I guess. Continues the trend "In The Unlikely
Event" started, but it didn't feel out of place like the last one. Pretty mediocre,
except a couple of tracks.
Best song: Death of The Sheep | 3 | | Just Like Vinyl Black Mass
Yes, it was better than their self titled - though not as much as people would have
you believe. Screams seem to be back for good, but I still can't totally accept the
lighter, poppier sound. All in all, a good effort.
Best song: Hours and Whiskey Sours | 4 | | The Thirty Years War Martyrs Among the Casualties
Basically, it's The Fall of Troy plus Mike Munro on guitars too. All the songs are
pretty catchy, Thomas had amazing skills for the age he was back then. If it wasn't
for the subpar production, it would have gotten a higher spot.
Best song: Reassurance Rests in The Sea | 5 | | The Fall of Troy Manipulator
Half letdown, half winner. I don't think the 1st part is that bad, but it definitely
lacks some power (with the exception of Semi-Fiction, which is supposed to be part
of the "Ghostship" saga). From "Sledgehammer" until the end, it's good ol' Thomas
delivering that delicious guitar wankery we all love.
Best song: Ex-Creations | 6 | | The Fall of Troy The Fall of Troy
This is probably the best self-titled by any band I've heard of. The Fall of Troy at
their rawest. Thomas best screams yet, tight musicianship and overall, a beast of a
record.
Best song: What Song Does a Mastodon Make? | 7 | | The Fall of Troy Ghostship
Ok, don't bash me on this one. I know many of you consider this to be their
masterpiece (and it sure sounds like one), but the raw production kills a little bit
the atmosphere. Other that, almost perfect.
Best song: Part IV | 8 | | The Fall of Troy Phantom on the Horizon
It's Ghostship remastered, pretty much. The vocals are a little softer, but the ambiance is much better, so I think it's a good
trade-off.
Best song: Chapter IV:Enter The Black Demon | 9 | | The Fall of Troy Doppelganger
No, it's not their best because it's the most popular. It's simply the one that has
the most quality songs in it, mostly because some are re-recorded versions of
classic TFoT songs and the flow of the album is fantastic.
Best song: (no, I'm not gonna say it's F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X.) Act One, Scene One | |

10.29.12 | I considered putting The Hills Have Eyes here, but since Thomas Erak just does vocals there, it just didn't feel right. |
