Sevengill 02.23.17	yeah we grew a bunch of hot-ish peppers in our garden last year -- jalapeno, bird's eye chili, serrano -- and a bite of a very fresh one of those is as hot as I can imagine anyone enjoying. fresh peppers are so good though and I like cooking with them.

JWT155 02.24.17	I agree with Mo as well, I love spicy as hell stuff, usually the spiciest sauce at restaurant I can handle, but some of the hot sauces I'll try a dab to say I did it but I get zero satisfaction from eating it so it's pointless to try more than that, a dab.

Your initial comment just sounded like you were implying that by enjoying spicy food people were sacrificing flavour for heat which isn't the case. Plenty of delicious, flavourful, spicy foods especially when it comes to Asian cuisines (looking at you vindaloo)
