Electronica In My Pie-chart!

'Electronica' just took out 'Progressive' in my pie-chart. Fuck yes, I had no idea I listened to that much dub/house/whatever the fuck it is I listen to. Now all I need is for 'Emo' to take over 'Rock' and my dream-pie chart will be achieved! Maximum eliteness is not far off now! List is 20 albums of the electronic variety that I've been jamming lately.

Just listening to this for the first time now, holy shit it's good.

We're New Here

Bar 9 In Da Mix

I saw this guy live (why he came to Vancouver Island is beyond me) and
was unbelievable. First "filthstep" I'd ever seen live, I can't wait to check
out some more.

II - MMX

Oh ehm gee this is so good. I'm so stupid for putting off getting this until
just last week. This is exactly the kind of dubstep I'm after most of the
time, recs like this would be appreciated.
5Jaga Jazzist
A Livingroom Hush

Electro/post-rock/jazz/awesome. I get to see these guys in about a month
(instead of a dubstep festival with Datsik, among others, ironically)
6Eleven Tigers
Clouds Are Mountains
7Bonobo
Black Sands

I get to see this guy at Sasquatch, I'm really really really excited. Should I
take drugs for his set? Yeah, I should take drugs for his set.
8Gold Panda
Lucky Shiner

I get to see this guy at Sasquatch, I'm really really really excited. Should I
take drugs for his set? Yeah, I should take drugs for his set. [2] (I half to
miss half their/his set to get ready for The Flaming Lips though, which I
definitely WILL be on drugs for).
9Flying Lotus
Los Angeles

slkdfhg;dfkh;ldfasghl I can't believe they put Flying Lotus in the same time
slot as The Flaming Lips. What were they thinking? I am, unfortunately,
skipping this whole set. Fuck. My. Life.
10Swarms
Old Raves End

Great sleepy-time music (move over ( ), for now....)
11Washed Out
Life Of Leisure

Her is my dilemma on Sasquatch Day 2: The Antlers vs. The Thermals vs.
Iron and Wine vs. Washed Out. What the actual fuck. I think I'm going to
catch all of The Antlers set, get 35 ish minutes of The Thermals, then try to
catch 10 minutes of Washed Out. Sorry, Iron and Wine, another time.

Really good album, but the first half murders the second half and I get
pretty bored by the end.

Ego / Mirror

I still need to get Burial's new EP. And I need to rate Untrue as well, but I
can't decide if I want to give it a 5 or not.
17Deadmau5
4x4=12

Seeing Deadmau5 live at Sasquatch started my indulgence with electronic
music. It was insane seeing that live. The energy in the air, the sense of
community, it was magnificent, more so than any other "genre" of concert
I've ever been to.

Pretty good, not amazing. Still, I can't wait to see this at Sasquatch, I
believe Ratatat is the late show one of the nights yayyyyyy.
