Aids' Vinyl Pt. 1 Of 2

I just catalogued my vinyl, so here's (the first part of) a list. Alphabetical order cause that's the easiest, there are 118 in total if I counted correctly, and this one cuts off right before The Mountain Goats :0
1A Place To Bury Strangers
A Place To Bury Strangers

180 gram pink/gold swirl
2Thee Silver Mount Zion
He Has Left Us Alone...

"A Silver Mt. Zion - He Has Left Us Alone but Shafts of Light Sometimes Grace the
Corner of our Rooms?" - sputnik's db is kinda weird
3Alexisonfire
Dog's Blood

their last EP, green coloured vinyl, 1 of 700 limited edition, only available on tour
(other colours sold online and in stores)
4Animal Collective
Merriweather Post Pavilion
5Arcade Fire
Funeral
6 Autstrian Symphony Orchestra (Edward Kilenyi, pianist
Chopin: Piano Concerto No. 1

(This is the best way I could think of to describe these classical records, which
were obviously written by someone else and have sometimes hundreds of different
releases by different orchestras and musicians.)
7The B-52s
The B52's

gotta have it (also, good job sputnik database!)
8Bad Brains
Bad Brains
9Beacon
For Now

I have no recollection of buying this or seeing a band by that name. I'm guessing
they were an opener for a show I saw when I was really drunk/high and impulse
bought this EP? I don't know, it's pretty cool though.
10The Beatles
Abbey Road
11The Beatles
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
12Bob Dylan
Greatest Hits, Vol. 2

inherited from the parents
13Bon Iver
Blood Bank

Purchased in Galway, Ireland when I saw them in 2009
14Bon Iver
Bon Iver, Bon Iver

beautiful artwork, great to have it full-size
15 Bon Iver
Calgary

single, the b-side is a Bonnie Raitt cover (he's so 80s) called I Can't Make You Love
Me/Nick Of Time
16Bon Iver
For Emma, Forever Ago

Naturally, for the complete collection (and this is obviously Justin Vernon's best
record)
17Various Artists
Box of Dub 2: Dubstep and Future Dub

RIP you god damn genius. This is the only jazz record I consistently enjoy.
27Deerhunter
Halcyon Digest

white vinyl, purchased after being won over by their mindblowing set at Sasquatch
2011
28Defeater
Empty Days and Sleepless Nights

I can't wait to be embarrassed that I own this... Not yet though!!
29Dharohar Project, Laura Marling, and Mumford & Sons

10 inch special collaboration for record store day 2010 (I think). I bought it cause
there was nothing else good at my local store and it seemed interesting. It is, by
the way.
30Eagles
Hotel California

gotta have it
31Elliott Smith
Either/Or
32Elliott Smith
Figure 8

double 180 gram re-pressing (its first since 2000). It set me back a bit, but it was
definitely worth it.
33Elton John
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

double LP
34Elton John
Madman Across the Water

inherited from the parents, terrible condition
35Fleet Foxes
Fleet Foxes
36Glassjaw

37Godspeed You! Black Emperor

38Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas...
39Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada

I still need the new oneeeeeeeeee
40 Harlequin
Victim Of A Song

It was free, is likely horrible, and I needed spare sleeves to protect the records
whose sleeves I have framed. This actual record is sitting in a bag somewhere
getting scratched to shit. Shouldn't even be included but it is cause lol.
41Hey Rosetta!
Seeds

there was a time when sputnik would have eaten this sort of indie-rock shit right
up, this time has apparently gone. Wherefore art thou, Adam Knott?
42Hop Along
Get Disowned

aoty 2012
43How To Dress Well
Total Loss

pink vinyl, signed by Tom Krell, bought when he played a show in my neighbourhood
which my friend and I tripped balls for (mdma). It was an unreal night, and I think I
nearly broke his hand when I shook it.
44In Medias Res
It Was Warm and Sunny When We First Set Out

They put on a really, really, really good show (same venue as 43, very close to me)
so I impulse bought their record. It was a mistake cause the album turned out to
be just ok. Not bad, but not worth spending $20 on. They were local though and
still hadn't sold off their first issues though and were therefore completely enslaved
by their label, so I kinda felt bad. I'll sell it used for like $8-10 probably.
45Jaga Jazzist
One-Armed Bandit

Signed by 3/9ths of the band after one of the most mind-blowing live shows of my
life. That drummer is my fuckin nigga. I took this video of "Vancouver" Skyline if
you care: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6TsttgDOZ8

53The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Axis: Bold As Love

180 gram re-issue, sounds AMAZING
54Jimi Hendrix
Smash Hits

I won this at some music trivia thing in first year. University students don't know
shit about music that isn't country.
55 John Lennon
Singles Bag

3 7" singles that were released for record store day a few years back. I bought it
for my dad but stole it back when he never played them.
56John Lennon

61Kishi Bashi
151a

white vinyl, bought at the most insane show I've ever seen (same venue as the
other ones, huzzah!) and I was sober and by myself. This guy is a god damn
genius and he tears the house down live. Do not miss if he plays near you.
62La Dispute
Somewhere at the Bottom of the River...

double album, first record is white, second record has a cool etching on the d-side
63Laura Stevenson

71Mono
Hymn To The Immortal Wind

fuck off new album, you suck so much dilch
72Mother Mother
O My Heart

It's been all downhill since this album got them "discovered", but nostalgia will
always keep me clinging to this as one of my favourite records produced by a local
band.
