04.07.14 | If you run Linux as your OS there are quite a few lightweight ones that work pretty well. Otherwise iTunes and WMP are probably your best options. |
AnotherBrick
04.07.14 | running windows 8.1. not really a fan of WMP |
Salvidian
04.07.14 | iTunes is kinda heavy on Windows 8, and you said you hate it. MusicBee isn't awful and MPC-HC was built for your OS. Maybe give them a shot? |

04.07.14 | I loved iTunes but after every fucking update I had to scroll through all my music updating everything since it would break one album into 4 different albums. Takes way too much time. and thanks ill look into that |

04.07.14 | i use google play if im listening at the PC, browser based and not a complete mess like spotify, even if you dont use their streaming service you can upload your music to their cloud and use it on their phone app |
TheSupernatural
04.07.14 | I just use Spotify. Works well for me. Although I guess Spotify is unpopular here |

04.07.14 | foobar is the best if you want to spend about 3 hours setting it up. it has the most functionality and the most options out of any of the players, but it comes at the cost of you literally having to build the player yourself.
other than that theyre all basically the same. you loose something in one that you get in another and vise versa. it all comes down to personal preference.
my favorite before foobar was always winamp though. |

04.07.14 | wouldnt work relinquished, i'd have to go into the "get info" and fuck around with that for awhile till it worked |
Salvidian
04.07.14 | "Get info" deleted all of my downloads. Most of them were even from iTunes too. Lost a few thousand dollars worth of darn fine music. |
