MC5 could not have been taken out for the Misfits but other albums could have been sacrificed like MDCs. I thought at least Static Age belonged in there. Remain in Light isn't a punk necessity. I got along just fine as a punk without it, but it sure made my life better when I heard it. |

02.28.11 | Looking back at this list 3 and a half years later and it's mostly true. A lot of these albums get the punk attitude across and are more like "must listens" than punk rock foundation records. |
