Awesome Vocal Cameos

My absolute favourite vocal cameos by some of the best singers some you may have heard of, some you haven't..
1Mike Patton with the Dillinger Escape Plan

Irony is a Dead Scene, in particular "When Good Dogs Do Bad Things". Only one singer could do justice to the chaos that is Dillinger's music. That man is Patton.
2Anneke Van Giersbergen with Devin Townsend Project

Addicted. "Numbered" is the highlight. The chemistry between Anneke and Devin Townsend is the spark that ignites this album.
3Mikael Akerfeldt with Ihsahn

"Unhealer" from angL
4Garm with The Gathering

"A Life All Mine" is a smoky, sultry walk through the dark alleys of The Gathering's album "Souvenirs". The Ulver frontman's voice complements Anneke's beautifully.
5Ladi 6 with Shapeshifter

"When I Return" from Shapeshifter's breakthrough album "Riddim Wise". Her voice adds another dimension to Shapeshifter's already soulful sound.
6Mikael Akerfeldt with Edge of Sanity

"Crimson". This 40 minute epic features a young Mike Akerfeldt and even then his growl was epic and distinguishable.
7Rodleen Getsic with Deftones

"Knfe Prty" from White Pony. Already an amazing track, made 100 times better with the spine tingling vocal break from Rodleen Getsic.
8Hollie Smith with Fat Freddy's Drop

"Hope" from "Based on a True Story". If you listened to her voice with eyes closed, you'd swear you were listening to a Black gospel singer...but she's a tiny white Kiwi girl.
9Liz Fraser with Massive Attack

"teardrop" from mezzanine. ex-cocteau twins singer lends her silky voice to a classic album.
10Martina-Topley Bird with Tricky

"Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos" from Maxinquaye. She makes this song her own, which is all the more impressive considering it was originally sung by a male.
11Nicki Minaj with Kanye West

"Monster" from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. She steals the spotlight from some other pretty impressive singers.
12Kimbra with Gotye

"Somebody that I used to Know" from Making Mirrors. The song that helped launch Kimbra into the world. With a little help from a No 1 video.
13Shirley Bassey with Propellerheads

"History Repeating" from "decksdrumsnrocknroll". Vintage Shirley Bassey shows age is no barrier with her funkiest song since Goldfinger way back in 1965. Awesome.
14Devin Townsend with Ayreon

"Rage" from The Human equation. Townsend steals the show from an all-star list of singers. He also makes this horribly cheesy album listenable.
15Chris Cornell with Temple of the Dog

"Say Hello to Heaven" from Temple of the Dog s/t.Whether or not this is a cameo is debatable, but one thing is beyond debate. The man could sing. Once upon a time anyway.
16Maynard with Deftones

"Passenger" from White Pony. A beautiful balance between Chino's harsher vocals.
17Steven Wilson with Opeth

"Bleak" from Blackwater Park.
18David Bowie with Queen

"Under Pressure".
19Iggy Pop with ATDI

"Rolodex Propoganda" from Relationship of Command.
20PJ Harvey with Thom Yorke

"This Mess We're In"
