07.18.11 | i was gonna do like a top 25 or 20 albums so far, but i felt i hadn't listened to enough to judge fairly. At the end of the year I'll probably expand this list and knock off one or two (probably the lady gaga) and add some more (probably James Blake and the new Washed Out record or something) . Definitely don't think the Foo Fighters new record was overrated, but that's just me. The Tyler, The Creator record has been getting a lot of strong opinions both negative and postive, and I can understand the negative opinions, but I think it's something new in rap, not necessarily inventive, but more innovative than some of the crap that's been coming out recently (Looking at you, Waka, Gucci, and Boosie) |
