May-day, May-day
The releases (mostly albums) I'm looking forward to next month. Let me know what I've overlooked.
1
Manchester Orchestra
Simple Math
Andy Hull is the man...dy Hull.
2
Fleet Foxes
Helplessness Blues
Folksy funhouse.
3
Death Cab for Cutie
Codes and Keys
Well, Narrow Stairs continues to grow on me.
4
The Antlers
Burst Apart
Sounds different from Hospice, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
5
Hugh Laurie
Let Them Talk
I hear Dr. House can actually jam. Intriguing.
6
Company of Thieves
Running from a Gamble
Criminally overlooked band.
7
Dredg
Chuckles & Mr. Squeezy
I hope this is much better than the title suggests. Pariah... was surprisingly solid, so I'm still cautiously optimistic.
8
The Lonely Island
Turtleneck & Chain
Perfect jams for when I do the creep.
9
Cave In
White Silence
Cave In the band > cave in, the event
10
Danger Mouse
Rome
This guy has yet to disappoint. (Well, aside from the news that he's producing a U2 album.)
11
Seether
Holding on to Strings Best Left to Fray
Definite guilty pleasure band. I blame "Fine Again."
12
Lady Gaga
Born This Way
A-cough. I'm mainly interested to see if this turns out to be the trainwreck that the singles indicate.
13
Beastie Boys
Hot Sauce Committe Pt. 2
I'm on the no pies, no sledgehammers team.
14
Hesher
Joseph Gordon-Levitt *and* Natalie Portman? In the same film, you say? Fa sho, yo.
15
Biutiful
Javier Bardem for President.

Also, allegedly the reissue of Queens of the Stone Age's first album comes out in May. But I feel like it's been slated for release "next month" since February.
