We recorded at Fat Cat Studios in Sacramento CA over 5 days to record this monster. here are my biggest influences you can hear the album on our official website: tarzandragon.com

Nevermind

This monster of an album taught me that dynamics are everything. Keep an interesting dynamic in your sound, and everything will fold into place from there.

Silent Hill 2

Probably my favorite album of all time. I like to keep my guitar tone spacy, thick and rich, while keeping a certain level of ambiance to it. which is something this album does to a T. maybe not with guitars, but just with atmosphere, which is something i try to capture

Wolfmother

This may seem a little weird/lame to put on here, but this album taught me that a strong rhythm section in a song can make or break the appeal of it. It taught me that simple chord structures and possibly "old ideas" can be made enjoyable if the rhythm is interesting.
2Pink Floyd
The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

Probably the album with the biggest impact on my life, this is the bit of music that made me pick up a guitar in the first place. A lot of ideas that are on here i keep with me in writing our music.
1Nick Drake
Pink Moon

I get a lot of my "open chord" phrasing from this man and this album.
