05.10.14 | It's not discriminatory or anything. I just listen to genres that tend to be pretty male-dominated. I had Janis Joplin and Heart on earlier lists, plus bands that have a female presence like Sonic Youth and Pixies. Later on you'll see Boris and Battle of Mice, off the top of my head.
Also, if you're curious, I have AIC at 32, King for a Day at 37 and Above at 38. I greatly prefer Alice's and FNM's previous albums.

We'll if you like alternative rock enough to bother, check out that PJ Harvey album I listed. It's my favorite of her's. |
