05.05.14 | This is probably my favorite year for music, as far as highest percentage of great albums go. 1-3 are all 5s, 4-11 are all 4.5s. 12-17 are all classics in their own right. |

05.05.14 | Yay 10, 6, and 3!
but wow this is missing a ton of favorites...I guess you're keener on metal than alternative rock.
I'd add:
The Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
Dinosaur Jr. - Green Mind
Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle (Surprised this isn't on here...actually I haven't seen Mike Patton on here at all so far)
Nirvana - Nevermind
Pixies - Trompe le Monde
R.E.M. - Out of Time
Hole - Pretty on the Inside |

05.05.14 | I've actually only listened to California by Mr. Bungle, and like I said, the Real Thing didn't quite make it in '89. You'll see Angel Dust tomorrow, though.
Green Mind is fun, but not as good as Dino Jr.'s 80s material. Nevermind also didn't quite make it. Like I said, amazing year. |

05.05.14 | Good stuff, man.
You're right, '91 was chalk full of quality releases. |

05.05.14 | Nevermind checks in at 44, right in between Loveless and "The Awakening" by Merciless. It's a solid album. The 25 here are a lot more than solid. |

05.05.14 | The way I see it, an album that has Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, In Bloom, Lithium, Breed, Drain You, On A Plain and Polly is more than just solid. But everyone has a right to have an opinion. |

03.27.15 | 1 is my 1991 favorite as well, although it's tech death rather than pure death. |
Flugmorph
03.27.15 | the year dm went huge |
NeroCorleone80
03.27.15 | It went bigger in 93 |

03.27.15 | I think 17 could be higher but it is nice to see it get a lot of love in general. |
