Don't Fear The Reapers

I can't ever remember wanting a weekend to go by so quickly. The nearest Gamestop is open at midnight - I'm gonna pick up my Collector's Edition and take full advantage of not having class on Tuesdays. IT ENDS HERE. Oh, and Clint Mansell composing means there will be one HELL of a soundtrack. ------------Here's some music I consider "epic" to at least some degree, and I don't care if they're obvious choices. I made it a point to try and NOT have closers (sometimes there was very little choice).
1Two Steps From Hell
Protectors of the Earth
2Rob Dougan
Clubbed to Death
3Dark Tranquillity
Inside the Particle Storm

and ...Of Melancholy Burning, Insanity's Crescendo and a dozen others
Memento Mori
Jane Doe
7The Mars Volta
Take the Veil Cerpin Taxt
8Judas Priest
9Killswitch Engage
Daylight Dies

It was just too hard to pick one song from AOJB...
10Florence and the Machine
Cosmic Love
11Howard Shore
The Bridge of Khazad Dum
12Rise Against
State of the

Because Survive is a closer.
13Protest the Hero
Turn Soonest to the Sea

14Iron Maiden
Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

The obvious choices are - you guessed it - closers. Dance of Death is epic too imo.
15Coheed and Cambria
Welcome Home

Years later after gradual acquisition of the whole discography, I still love it. A lot.
16Moving Mountains
Ode We Will Bury Ourselves

(tbh, I haven't really listened to it recently)
17Tyler Bates
Returns a King

The End Run

ME2 soundtrack. Several of the latter tracks work here.
The Earth Will Shake

(but really, Red Sky)
20Set Your Goals
Gaia Bleeds

or rather, the bridge
22Bright Eyes
Let's Not Shit Ourselves

Too awesome to not include
23Sights and Sounds

(but really, Pillars)
Those Who Slay Together, Stay
