06.13.18 | lotta hard disagrees with these from robertsona up there (blue bottle?? really???) but im also older and generally more jaded

06.13.18 | Shots fired! Yeah I generally don’t have a great handle on the Classics and have never been to Luger or anything...quick q, Does the 53rd and 6th halal cart have a name? There’s one right below union square park called “Farook’s“ I think that has a delicious lamb gyro and soda for 3.99, good option if you’re around there |
robertsona
06.13.18 | Oh fuck I accidentally deleted my comment. Well imho the four best museums are the Met, MoMA, Frick and Cloisters. Guggenheim and Whitney cool too but shitty student deals. Studio museum in Harlem also cool. Met Breuer worth a visit. Check out artnet.com/events/new-York if you’re interested in galleries (Free!!!!) |

06.13.18 | Oh yeah make sure you get a pork bun from Chinatown
Love those things, my Dad works in the city and he used to being them home sometimes when I was young. I wish I knew what place he went to... |

06.13.18 | the halal guys... theyre "different"
ok whats funny about it is that there are plenty of good halal trucks and im normally not one for waiting on a line for anything i dont have to (or building up something that may be a tad overhyped) but i happened to work nearby for a few years and it's just good street meat lol |
robertsona
06.13.18 | Ah I should have figured. Halal guys is def good product but I ate too much of it at one time and now it brings thoughts of illness. But it’s fun if you’re going to the MoMA anyways...
I assert that Los tacos no 1 is essential though, especially if you have to be in Times Square (also a location in Chelsea market). Adobada taco with corn tortilla. Not exactly cheap but deeeelicious. I guess that’s all. Check screenslate.com if you like old movies (I swear it’s more fun than it sounds to see one of these). There I’ve posted the NYC resource trifecta of ohmyrockness (music), artnet (art), and screenslate (movies).
Also wah fung no. 1 fast food in Chinatown—basically the best deal in the city IMO |

06.13.18 | ashamed to say i don't have a go-to mexican place (always struggle, but i'm not including yuppie shit that rules hard like toloache) or chinatown place (never struggle, just dont have a go-to)
if you have to visit times square (if it's your first time in manhattan, you definitely do) just walk around a bit and try to take in the sheer volume of electricity being used all around you...

Ryus
06.13.18 | times square is fascinating as a tourist probably but as a manhattanite i hate it lol |
