1500 Ratings

Been on the site a long time, found so much great music, and realized I just hit 1500 ratings. List is ralbums that rrare great rrbut underrated, in that they have under 10 ratings and more people rshould hear them.
1Future Virgins
Late Republic

Punk/pop-punk. Really underrated band, both their albums are incredibly consistent and they seem to be
getting better. "Cheap Seats":
2The City on Film
In Formal Introduction

Solo project from Braid vocalist Bob Nanna. "For Holly":
3Bent Outta Shape
Stray Dog Town

This is a sweet album, just a great straight up punk rock/rocknroll album with vocals kinda reminiscent
of The Replacements. "I Don't Know"
4Business Models

Pete from Algernon Cadwallader is in this band and it's an really solid listen front to back. Available for
free download at their bandcamp
5Toys That Kill
The Citizen Abortion

I know there's a few here who love "Fambly 42" (rightfully so, it's their best and an awesome album),
but their debut is pretty awesome as well. "Amphetamine St"
6The Underground Railroad to Candyland
Bird Roughs

Todd from Toys that Kill's other band, more rockabilly/surf rock-ish but just as awesome. "Yuppie Hip
Hop Ad"
Awake in their World

Don't even know if this band is still around anymore but this EP is a really good short burst of pop punk.
"Tough Lake, Mr. Meunster"
Nervous Like Me

Debut LP and it rocks. Saw them open for the Menzingers earlier this year and they were really good.
"Mountain Kids"
9Shotgun Jimmie
Transistor Sister

Canadian singer/songwriter who makes really catchy indie rock. "Suzy"
Crazy Fucking Dreams

Punk band from the UK, really dig their sound, simple but effective
11Grabass Charlestons
Ask Mark Twain

Another solid punk band that doesn't seem to be too well known, at least not on here. "Best in Shitty"
Skyscraper National Park

Another under appreciated Canadian singer/songwriter. His earlier stuff is more alt rock, but I prefer
his more mellow/relaxing side. "Dynamite Walls"
13Fresh Coats
A Train Wreck Named Desire

Really short 8 song album (or ep?) that is just awesome. Pretty sure one of the guys from Get Bent is
in this band. "This Summer is Going to be Awesome"
Whole thing's abailable for free on
14David Dondero
The Transient

First saw this dude open for Against Me! in 2007 and immediately liked him. Makes some very good
folk/rock music. "The Stars are my Chandelier"
15State Route 522

90s emo/indie rock band whose vocalist went on to sing with Sharks Keep Moving and Minus the
Bear. "1910"
Through the Head

Just recently broke up but their one album is a really solid indie rock/pop punk/whatever album. Also the
same drummer as Spraynard. "Dead to You"
17The Ambulars
Dreamers Asleep at the Wheel

Randomly downloaded this while browsing ifyoumakeit's catalogue and I'm glad. Nothing mind
blowing but a solid album worth downloading, and hey it's free.
18J Church
Nostalgic for Nothing

Awesome and prolific 90s pop punk band, rip Lance Hahn. "Nostalgic for Nothing"
19Kind of Like Spitting
In the Red

Found out bout this guy when I see him open for AJJ in 2012 and was impressed. "Sheriff Ochs"
20How Do We Jump This High?
Deep Stationary

good pop punk ""
21The Blacktop Cadence
Chemistry for Changing Times

90s album featuring Chris Wollard of Hot Water Music. "Last Night...After I Bought the Wine"
22Like Bats
Midwest Nothing

good stuff. "Double or Nothing"
23The Marked Men
Fix My Brain

Seriously one of the better pop punk albums I've heard. "Fix My Brain"
24Peeple Watchin
Somethin Ta Tell Ya

This is good. I feel my descriptions getting redundant. "95"

"Mush" is their best but this is worth a listen too. "Wallflower"
