03.29.07 | I'm sorry, but I cannot approve of any power metal list that lacks Sonata Arctica. I highly suggest you check them out if you like power metal |

03.29.07 | The only reason Outworld is so good is because of Rusty Cooley. Symphony X is pretty good too. |
Lunarfall
03.29.07 | I have random Sonata Arctica songs which are very good, but I do not have a complete album by them, so I couldn't put any albums by them on here. Sorry. =(
Cooley needs to try more in Outworld IMO. And they got a new vocalist to, so no more annoying vocals. =)
Fyi, list is in no particular order. |

03.29.07 | The first one is the definition of epicpowarhlolzmetalepiclolz. No, seriously, it's great. |

03.29.07 | Sorry. But that's Rhapsody Of Fire's title. |

03.29.07 | outworld owns so much and now even more with their new vocalist. rusty tears it up in his solo in The Never |
Doppelganger
03.29.07 | The Black Halo? |

03.29.07 | Good choices wit 7 and 9. As said before, it lacks Sonata Arctica. It also lacks COB.
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle Earth and Somewhere Far Beyond |

03.29.07 | I wouldnt call Children of Bodom power metal, theyve grown out of it with Hatecrew Deathroll and Are You Dead Yet |
Eakflanderyof
03.29.07 | To an extent, I agree, but everyone here still seems to consider them power metal. They're definitely more melo-death/thrash now. |

03.29.07 | I personally see Follow the Reaper as the only power metal album from them, as its the only album that has a crazy excessive amount of high notes and melodies. All the other ones have harsher vocals, too. |

03.29.07 | nah Something Wild and Hatebreeder have that ridiculous power metal influence in them, probably more so than FTR. |
Thor
03.29.07 | No Iced Earth? |
